La Mama Musica: Let’s Dance! Kwabo Afroparty Online

Kwabo AfroParty is a cultural, joyful and dynamic introduction to Afrodance (African modern dance styles) in a party setting.

Each session is high energy, fun and accessible to all so tell your uncles, cousins, kids and dogs to get ready!

Performed with upbeat music from Mama Africa, the West Indies and the Caribbean such as Afropop also called Afrobeats, Ndombolo, Socca and Kompa.

This session combines freestyle dancing and funny dance games to make you discover and experience hot party flavours, trendy dance moves and uplifting music.

With Kwabo Afrodance, you will be sure to leave with a big smile on your face.

MMEETS: Dance at MPavillion Docklands: Afrodance with Kwabo Events

Come have fun dancing to African music while learning the meaning and origins of each Afrodance style. High in energy, positivity and cardio activities, you will leave the class rejuvenated, happy and stronger in your body!

Kwabo means ‘welcome’ in Fon (Togolese dialect), thus this class welcomes individuals from all levels, walks of life and age. Participants are invited to immerse themselves in upbeat music from West & Central African countries including Ghana, Togo, Ivory Coast, Congo, and Angola in this joyful, dynamic introduction to modern African dances.
