Kwabo Internship & Community Placement Program
Since 2023, Kwabo Events has provided meaningful internship and community placement opportunities for emerging creatives, students and aspiring arts professionals. Our program offers practical, hands-on experience across event management, community engagement, marketing, arts administration, cultural production and creative project delivery, while fostering leadership, cultural capability and professional confidence.
We have successfully partnered with leading tertiary institutions, including RMIT University and the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA), to support students in applying their learning in real-world community settings. Through structured mentoring, industry exposure and meaningful project involvement, participants develop valuable professional networks, transferable skills and pathways into the creative and cultural sectors.
