At the heart of AMCF is the promotion of “Celebrating Diversity and Harmony” through cross cultural awareness, mutual respect, education, understanding and unity, whilst providing locals and visitors with a unique opportunity to experience and celebrate Africa’s diversity.

Join us for an evening of African Culture, jam-packed with delicious Senegalese food by Taste of Senegal and a Kwabo Events performance.
Learn different African dances such as Afro dances, Afro-house and traditional Togolese dances before you enjoy a cultural experience through a Senegalese food journey. This is a great opportunity to make new friends and learn about African culture, and dance the night away to African rhythms.

KWABO Events at Footscray Night Markets

Kwabo Events brought the heat with the return of the Footscray Night Market. Hot nights and cool vibes at Railway Reserve, Footscray.
A foodie lover’s dream, the night markets offer cuisines from around the world each Friday night. That’s matched with entertainment and music that showcases each culture amidst the leafy gardens, located next to Footscray Train Station.
Entertainment and fun for all ages.

It’s great to be back bringing the summer afro influenced house vibes to one of our favourite outdoor venues! Get ready for a day session of house, food & dance featuring Chris NG, Flex, Datboy, Selektah, Trucklord & more bringing you the music, Kwabo Events with a free Afro Dance class, The Real Jerk Food Truck looking after your gastronomy & Halikalika with the craft. All ages welcome before 7, Avoid the queue & get down there early. Bring the smile & we’ll see YOU on the dancefloor!
